How can journalism make the world a better place?

The question of asking myself if my career would improve the world is very interesting, I think I have never considered it, I know that journalism is a very important branch in the world, without it we would not be connected to the outside world and I would not know what happens in other places. And that is why I believe that journalism can benefit and affect the world at the same time, sometimes for the worse, like what we know as Fake News, but also for the better, since we realized the existence of the Coronavirus without this specialty, perhaps the consequences we are currently experiencing are much worse.

In conclusion, it could be said that the specialty as such would not make the world a better place, but the people who teach it and how they do it. And for the same reason, I think my path from now on as a student is going to be difficult, but thanks to what I have been learning from the teachers I have had and thanks to their advice, I know that I will be able to advance.
